To register by fax you must print and fax (754.321.1302) the completed Credit Card Authorization form, copy of your Drivers License, Workforce Education Registration Application and the Refund Policy form.

Registration Procedures

To attend the Broward Fire Academy Firefighter I & II certification program you must come into the facility and place your name on the waitlist located in the lobby. Please read the Firefighter I & II information listed under the Classes information section of this site. FIREFIGHTER I & II REGISTRATION CAN ONLY BE DONE IN PERSON AT THE BROWARD FIRE ACADEMY.

County Wide Ability Test Registration Procedures

Please register in person on the dates and times indicated on the Main Menu, Ability Test page. To register you MUST bring a copy of your Firefighter I & II Certification with you to registration. You may also register for these classes by going to the Main Menu and selecting the Registration section of this site. To register by fax you must download the Registration Form, Charge Card Authorization Form and fax them along with a copy of your Drivers License and a copy of your FIREFIGHTER I & II CERTIFICATION to 754-321-1302.

First Responder, Driver Engineer, CPR, EVOC, Flashover, STAR, and FULSAR Registration Procedures

Please register in person on the dates and times indicated under the Classes information page. You may also register for these classes by going to the Main Menu and selecting the Registration section of this site. To register by fax you must download the Registration Form, Charge Card Authorization Form and fax them along with a copy of your Drivers License to 754-321-1302.

NOTICE!

STUDENTS IN LINE ON THE DAY THAT REGISTRATION OPENS WILL BE PLACED INTO CLASSES FIRST. FAXED REGISTRATIONS WILL THEN BE ENTERED INTO THE CLASSES IN THE ORDER THAT THEY ARE RECIEVED ONCE THE LINE IS DEPLETED IF SEATING IS AVALIABLE. We will contact you by phone if a seat is not available. Your registration and receipt documentation will be given to you on the first day of class. Due to safety and student confidentiality, we are unable to release any student information over the phone. Students must come in person to the Broward Fire Academy with a valid photo ID to check class registration status, or any other student information issues.
